Hey guys! I'm a mom to five kids whom I homeschool. My husband and I have always wanted a small family farm but he was in the Navy and we were constantly moving, he recently got out of the military and last October we bought our house with 9 acres! We have a small flock of 8 chickens, 3 leghorns, 3 silver laced Wyandotte and 2 Rhode island reds. We also have two Royal Palm turkeys and 3 ducks! I'm getting the itch to get more chickens very soon . Next on our farm is goats and pigs! Thank you for a great resource and I'm sure I'll have tons of questions!
