Info sent via PM.

Due to higher than expected postage rates (I don't know why I imagined all my packages would only cost $4.95 to ship

. The starter kit I mailed today cost $15 to ship!

), I will be lowering the prices of all my offered mealworms and starter kit by $5, but charging the buyer for actual shipping charges. See 1st post for updated pricing.

Those orders that have already paid up to this point, will be honored at the original quoted prices.

Thanks!

Do you know how long the mealworms will last in the refrigerator? I know they go dormant but I can't remember how long that will last. I'm trying to decide between 1000 and 2000...

Thanks!

According to one site, they can last up to a couple months refrigerated. I personally would want to use them within a month, unless you're going to be taking them out every week or two, allowing them to warm up, feeding them, then putting them back in the frig. Otherwise they'll get dehydrated and I imagine lose some of their nutritional value?

I have 9 chickens. How many mealworms should I feed them a day? That will help me know how much I would like to order.

I am thinking the starter pack. Can you PM me with paypal info?

Thanks!!!

I'm sure there are others who are more experienced with chickens who could better answer your question, but what I do, since I've come into bunches of worms

, is to feed my 6 chickens about 100 in the morning and another 100 in the evening. They gobble those down in a heartbeat, then look up, as if to ask "got any more?" If I weren't raising them myself, I doubt I would be so generous.
