Beetles in Stock (Mealworms mid October)

Good question. Fortunately I don't have to count them individually! I have a fairly sensitive (0.1g) scale. I count out 100 mealworms and weigh them. Then I multiply that weight by 10 to get the estimated weight of 1000 mealworms. Then I weigh out mealworms to reach that number. I do have to count out 100's every so often, as the larger mealworms weigh more per hundred than the medium sized ones.

Due to the strong response, I will be out of mealworms once the already received orders have been filled. I can continue to offer the starter set with beetles, but without the mealworms, for discounted price of $17 plus postage.

I will possibly be offering mealworms again in a couple months, once my current beetle boxes kick in.

Oh my gosh! I got my box today and I am going to be honest and say I have never seen a meal worm before today.

Uhhhh, they are gross and iccky and I am going to love this!!!!

If any of you have any doubt about ordering from this seller, don't worry at all.
He was so generous, very organized and I just love the set up.

They came with instructions and everything makes sense.

I was going to try and breed them after reading up about how to on the internet and then I saw this post and got some asap.
I bought two containers of mealworms from PetSmart a few days before and for 35 worms no bigger than Silly's I paid $4.50 each

I hadn't even opened them up until his came and I couldn't believe that his were the same size as these expensive ones.

So, trying NOT to touch them I scooped up some and gave them to my Bearded Dragon. Boy oh boy she scarfed them down. So she got more and scarfed again.

Then my poor little peachick (who I have inside in a bird cage)(she thinks I am her mamma) got knocked over by the dog (where was the shock collar control when I needed it?) anyway, so I decided to treat her to some and see if she would eat them. She has only ever had flock raiser crumbles.

Well she was shaking and gobbling them down faster than I could pick them up with the tweezers. Yes tweezers! I will touch them sometime soon I am sure.

Ewww, but good ewwww.

This is a great deal!!! Thanks for the opportunity. I am so glad I got them.

rustyswoman, I'm glad your starter set and extra worms arrived safely! In a couple months, you should have thousands more mealworms from your beetles. You'll get used to the worms. Granted, they are squiggly, but not really gross. It's not like they're slimy or anything:)

Thanks again for your order!
