Before becoming broody????????

I've seen a lot of threads on signs of when a bird becomes broody and what to do when she has ALREADY became broody. Does anyone know any signs of hens BEFORE they become broody??? Any advice on a pre-broody hen is awesome!!
 
They will hang out around the nests more, start separating them self from the other birds, fluff out more, become more fussy.
