Before i do this to like 100 quail, is this true????

Haha i have enough!!
I have another 50 eggs im the bator for lockdown thursday, and another shipment of eggs due the end of the week
My husband is gonna be the death of me!!!

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but, if a female has been recently bred, she may also foam due to still having the foam from the male... so, put all of the "males" in a pen for a few days and make sure no eggs show up in there...
That would be fine if she could tell which ones were males to begin with. Their A&M quail (no Aggie jokes, please)

What are you doing with all those birds?
Meat, pets, bird dog training, stocking property
The things my husband comes up with lol
They are cute though but thankfully he stopped ordering the eggs due to the baby coming in march lol

Ahhh I wish I had a bator! Getting my quail on Friday:wee
Haha haveing a bator is great but then you get carried away hatching!
I have so nany birds! :th:barnie

Unless they are disappearing eggs!

Ah, I would use the bator to hatch chicks with and to sell them. Unfortunately I don't have one.

If you aren't getting any eggs and no mating behavior it is likely they aren't going to foam either. It's not normal breeding season for quail right now (in the Northern Hemisphere). You may want to check just a couple to see before you get your whole set-up ready.

I have them in Northern Florida i did check a few before i went all crazy, and nothing... and i also checked one i knew was a male and nothing.... i guess i may have to wait until they start showing signs....thanks for the heads up i will look into the seasons.

The video is correct. But only if the males are of age to produce foam. They will have a lump or a bulged vent and females will have flat vents. I've had males start producing foams as early as 5 weeks and some as late as 9 weeks old. But the quails I had were coturnix. I've had almost all breeds of quails. The game birds (bobwhites, blue scales, valleys, chukar, and others) are different and harder to sex until they get their male plumage.
