Oh. Is he finding a whole new family? He was going to go today because I was getting nervous about his crowing. Looks like he'll be here 1-2 weeks still. They aren't quite ready for him yet.
Actually he is going back to the breeder who guarantees the sex of your choice. I didn't want a rooster so he is giving me two 7 week old pullets in exchange. I get 2 because the LO are twice the price of the ones I'm getting. I'm getting one Silver Laced Wyandotte and an Ameraucana. This roo will sell easily for my breeder. Someone is always looking for Lavender Orpington rooster for breeding.Oh. Is he finding a whole new family?
He's hatchig and raising chicks often till he can acclimate them to living outdoors. This time of year is especially busy for that. Like me, some people can't raise chicks. Right now he is full up, no room at the inn especially for a single rooster my new chicken will be ready in 2 weeks so that will free up that cage for Mr Roo who will not be in a coop there. He is headed for a market as a breeding rooster. .That's what I thought, so why do they need to be ready for him?
Thanks for taking the time to explain it. That makes sense! He's hatchig and raising chicks often till he can acclimate them to living outdoors. This time of year is especially busy for that.
