Oh wow. So glad I have dogs that keep stray cats away. Hope it all works out for you.

Yeah good dogMine does also, but she doesn't come back home
If I chain her outside, the cats just know EXACTLY where the chain ends and they still come all over the lawn - every place the dog can't reach on her leash!
And also they are starting to attack now, so I was afraid of fights.. and rabies! I'd like my dog to chase the cats, but I'd never put my dog in danger to chase wild animals out of my property. One dog against 20 starving cats is just not enough. The male cats are HUGE!! Almost lions (lol, slight exaggeration here).

Oh no. We have just two stray cats, I wanted to scare them off and decided to let the dog out to chase them. I have not seen them since. He cant get out of the fenced in yard.
My cat doesn't seem interested in the chickens at all. So I had a thought that maybe if you got some cat food and fed the cats next door that maybe they would become full and not interested in your chickens either. Of course my cat is kinda weird he thinks hes a dog and my dog doesnt bother chasing him because they are pinned at the hip lol.

In theory, that's a nice idea but the expense in feeding that many cats would be outrageous and if they're sickly and likely have worms...they'll never be "full".
I also have a cat who is more dog-like (loves taking hikes, trips to the beach and even goes canoeing with me). She and my dog are like two peas in a pod. There's no way my dog would tolerate that many cats around though. I'm cat-sitting for a 91 year old murder mystery writer for the next couple of months and I won't let him out because I'm afraid he'll be using my gardens as his own personal litter boxes. The thought alone is revolting. My cat doesn't use my gardens like that...I hang bird feeders in them so instead, she likes to hang out in the gardens to stalk them but doesn't actually get any - she's missing all her front teeth so her tongue sticks out all the time and she drools more than my dog but she's good at keeping rodents away. lol
