I located some brand new chicks that I plan to pick up Saturday so I need to get prepared.

I’ve got the brooder box and lamp covered; will pick up water and feed containers along with wild game food. What else is necessary for these early weeks until I build hutch for outdoors?

(Side note: is it crazy to start with 20 or am I biting off too much?)

My very first hatch was 15. Now I have... A lot more.

Instead of wild game feed buy a complete and balanced gamebird feed with at least 24% protein.
