Beginner coop for 4 hens...to build or buy? That is the question lol

How handy are you? Do you have any predators? Alot of the store bought ones still need major reinforcing/ predator proofing? Something to think about....if your handy I'd build... I also found my 5 girls all cram on on roost and don't use half the space they have...

Coop part is 4 x4 and seems very roomy for my 5 girls...

I'm not very handy but my other half is lol
I'm thinking we will most likely build. The only predators we have here in Hawaii are mongoose, which I "heard" go after chicks but not adult chickens. We also have wild pigs occasionally but not sure if they bother chickens. They seem happy digging up my garden.

We have this weakly fenced in area about 12x14 and though we are still cleaning out the elephant grass around it were thinking of using the area for chickens. Maybe enclose it or something? Any thoughts?
