Another Newbie heart attack moment....

"MOMMY MOMMY COME QUICK!!! THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS ONE'S WINGS!!!!!!!"

Yep, definitely something DIFFERENT, but not something WRONG...
(oh, and the curling is more apparent than these slightly blurry pics show)

Mom is a lovely white Silkie, and Daddy.... ? Don't know if is a frizzled cochin or another frizzled breed, so don't know if this is a FRIZZLE or a SIZZLE yet...

**Oh, and any guesses on color????????**

i'd have to agree, i believe that is the mom and dad also going by looks and color it is very possible. it looks like a F-1 sizzle. if u want sizzles i'd let it grow up and cross it back to silkies. it should be partridge color from the white x'ing or millie colored when grown.

Thanks, TheRealSilkieChick!! Can't see from the picture but he/she also has 5 toes from "Momma".

I have been trying to "Search" various threads, but haven't had much luck finding pix of Mille Fleur Sizzles (chicks OR adults), saw on your website that you breed alot of quality birds, including Sizzles, so thought you might know where I can find some Mille Fleur (or partridge) Sizzle photos!

Really nice website and Bee-oo-tee-ful birds

, by the way!

if u do find pics they will be few and far between or in other breeds usually. i used to breed millie d'uccles, i miss them but it has been a harsh winter so i'm glad they r not here. i don't know anyone with sizzles that color only buff. thank you, i've been trying every few days to work on it and update it when i got time to. i'm excited for spring to come and for another great breeding and show season.

NZpouter- Thank you for the link, those are really nice pictures and the mille frizzle pix gives me a nice idea of what this chick's possible color could look like on a fuzzball bird!!

TheRealSilkieChick... I am from the "Keystone State", too... about 45 min south of Pittsburgh! I've never really intended to breed chickens, just wanted a FEW for pets & eggs, BUT... If I end up with something unusual that would make reasonable breeding stock (no MAJOR flaws), it will be hard to resist the temptation!!! So if this chick turns out to be lovely with a sweet temperament, I'm probably going to go for it...

Is THIS how people end up with a billion chickens, instead of the 5 or 6 they INTENDED to have??????????????
