These babies were hatched on June 24th so only a week old, but it looks like they might all be frizzled! The rooster is a frizzled black bantam Cochin and the hens are either Silkie, D’Uccles, d’anvers, Easter Egger, or Cochin/Silkie mix (all hens are bantam and smooth feathered). I wasn’t good about knowing who’s egg was who’s so it’s a toss up on the potential mothers lol anyways curious what your first impressions are for them being frizzled. The only one I’m really guessing on is the Silkie looking one (slightly lighter in color than the others and fluffier). The others little wing feathers all seem to be curling outwards to me. Let me know if you agree
I feel like 4-5 out of 5 is weird odds for the frizzled gene, but I could be wrong. Also convinced that since they are all frizzled my luck is up and they will all be roos
