my sweet Patience was attacked by our neighbors cat. She wasn't injured seriously, but she is not herself. We did see a small stream of blood and it looked like she only had a small scratch near her ear. We put hydrogen peroxide on it.
I had to encourage her to come out of the coop this morning. She is very calm on my lap, but when I put her down, she walks a little bit and when she stops , closes her eyes and just stands there. I did this several times to watch her behavior. She talked a little while on my lap.
Tonight I brought the water to her beak and she finally drank really well. I don't believe she ate today. She's being very docile and withdrawn. There doesn't seem to be any other external wounds, but wondering if there is bacteria causing her behavior. Very concerned mommy here.

My guess is she's very sore, and potentially still in shock which can last a day or two. I've had birds roughed up by dogs, it can take a while for them to feel better. I generally let them be, and keep them comfortable and quiet. Generally they don't want to eat or drink for a few days which is okay. You should start to see improvements by a week or so.

Thank you so much!

Thank you! Me too. She's my sweetest of the bunch! It's unfortunate because my cat and dogs love the girls and my girls are comfortable around them too.
I wish my cat Emmie was out there at the time, she would have told the neighbors cat, a what for! (And my dogs)

Acts like she has narcolepsy. Still very withdrawn and distant in her cognacity. I miss my healthy girl. Still no visual injuries
I generally didn't see much improvements until about a week into it. If she doesn't drink by day 3 on her own you may want to try some sugar water to give her a boost, and get her hydrated. Otherwise electrolytes in her water right now would be a good idea.

She still could have sustained more injuries than you are seeing.
