    Hey everyone,
I just got some silkie chicks that are one week today, and was wondering what do roosters behave like? What do hens behave like? Do they act different when there with all girls or all boys? If you have no boys could a pullets start acting like that?

    All help is appreciated!

If you mean what do male chicks vs. female chicks act like, there is really no difference. I haven't had silkies before, but I know for several other breeds, the roosters are smaller and feather in slower. They also get bigger and redder combs and wattles. (This doesn't apply to silkies, of course.)
It's pretty hard to tell for silkies. Here's a thread I found that might be helpful. Good luck!
