How do BEI duck eggs taste?
Has anyone ever tried them?
I have 6 of them and they should be laying in the spring. I have a few pekins that already started laying for me and the eggs are delicious.
(I know a lot of you already know this because im sure anyone reading this has probably had a duck egg before. But this was my first time ever trying a duck egg)
I hatched the BEI's from eggs and the eggs were blue with black spots on them and they looked super cool. I am wondering how they might taste though.
They are a bantam duck and they are quite different than the big fat Pekins I have.
Should I expect them to taste any different than the ones im eating now? or are they just smaller and more colorful versions of the big white ones?
Thank you,
Matt
