Being a bully or is this normal

I just got my coop and run done. They have been outside two days. I have been watching them and if a hen chick jumps and causes the others to chirp or jumps and flys around crazy like he will run or fly over to them and peck them in the head. For the most part he is easy going and normal acting. Is he being a bully or just keeping the peace?

Sounds like normal rooster behavior. He's just telling the female to behave.

Young Birds have mock battles..It's normal..

They are almost a month old. He is a little taller ( Blue Orpington ) than the hens and seems to prefer two of the silver laced wyandottes. I haven’t had a chance to watch them since the first day so I am not sure if he is still disciplining them.
