Well, to get out of spam calls is easy.

1
New number UNLISTED.
2
Never give your # out on anything online, paper, restaurants, etc.

Never give your # out to anyone other than family/friends.
4
Tell them to take you off their call list or hang up/don't answer.

If you have a business or w/e, get a separate # just for it. If you use your cell/house for CraigsList, DO NOT put it in the ad, make them email you to get the #, BUT only after you've confirmed they aren't spammers and to only schedule pickup/etc.


Email
Make 3 email accounts.
1st for personal; family, friends, doctor, etc.
2nd for business, random buy/sell, ordering from website.
3rd for random day to day junk you end up subscribing to, forums, surveys, places that MIGHT sell/leak the email, etc.
Then just make sure to keep everything in order and you won't have any spam where it's most important.

Tell them to take you off their list and if they don't, threaten to seek legal action. That usally takes care of any spam messages that I get.
