Blue Ridge Mtns. of North Georgia

1 yr old Porcelain D'Anver rooster
25 Wk Old Mille Fleur D'Anver cockerel

Either or both FREE
Both are good breeding roosters, though the porcelain is the better bird overall, other than temperament

~If you need a pullet to go with them, I have six available pullets to choose from from 29 weeks old *and laying* to 12 weeks of age-the oldest is possibly split for porcelain and the three youngest are definitely split for porcelain~
*Pullets $5 each*
((I do have a 27 wk old lavender Coch'Anver pullet available who is laying, if you are interested, but she is currently broody - sired by porcelain D'Anver rooster over lavender bantam Cochin hen))

These D'Anver hens WILL brood and they make excellent mothers!

Aubrey, the year old rooster has the expected D'Anver rooster personality (Little Big Man Syndrome) and Ace, the cockerel, will bite your shoe but likes a good chest rub.

They come from Boggy Bottom Bantams stock, an NPIP breeder of quality birds in S. GA.

You cannot get these a porcelain or mille fleur D'Anver at any hatchery in the country.

For those who do not know, porcelain is mille fleur with the lavender gene added, so mille fleur & porcelain are compatible breeding colors.

~D'Anvers are excellent fliers! You should have a covered pen and predator resistant coop~

Post SOLD in a reply on this thread, then immediately PM me as they must be picked up within a week of your commitment to purchase. Pick up at our home in Fannin County, GA near the NC line, a few miles east of the TN/NC border. Cash Only.

~I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone if I feel the situation warrants it~

WANT!! SO BADLY!!
Sadly, I live in the opposite direction of Georgia, and have too many roos as it is! But both sure are beautiful, and someone will come and take them soon! Sorry!

Me, too! Thanks for appreciating them, though!

I've added one more photo of Mina on the carousel- in that one, she is the one in the back nearest the fence, with a younger pullet I'm keeping in front.

I love this rooster. A friend of mine who got me started with chickens has a D'Uccle roo with the same color scheme I have been fawning over for a while. Unfortunately I don't think I can drive from the NC coast even for a handsome pair like this

I really, really love the porcelain with its subtle play of shades, too. Wish I had some porcelain hens, but you will get those eventually with this pairing anyway (and right away if Mina is already a split-can't tell by looking).

ETA: Hard to believe no one wants a beautiful Belgian D'Anver breeding pair, but I finally put an ad up at the county co-op bulletin board after no bites on these two. They are still available, for now.
