Beloved pet Chicken died RIP OREO ..thank you for everyone’s support over the years

Hello, so some people may know me and some of you might not. Anyway I had a chicken named Oreo and over 2 years we had a lot of problems and scares but luckily amazing people from backyard chickens helps and she slowly became a close friend to me.
a chicken? How? she was almost like an Unofficial emotional support animal for me and got me though a lot and I mean a lot. She acted like a dog and she was so smart.
On Thursday October 2020 she passed away, and it was all my fault and not going to say how because i have a lot of school work and whenever I think about it, I basiclyy can’t do anyway for the next 24 hours. on Thursday 2018 October my quail who was everything to me died., she Oreo was the one who made it just a bit better. But now I’m in 2020 with no one, And I want to thank so many people for helping me raise her, without your help something would have happened sooner. And many thanks to especially @Wyorp Rock and @ChickNanny13 and so many more amazing human beings. rip oreo

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it can be really hard. I lost my duck a few weeks ago(the one out of the pool in my pfp), and a kitten a few days ago. It's been tough this year. It helps me to know they had good lives, right up to the end. I'm sure Oreo loved you very much, and lived a great life with you. I'll always be here to talk

It's always painful to lose one, especially when you feel it was your fault. I left a coop door open ONCE, and a mink got in through the run -- which has since been upgraded -- and three of the four hens died. It was devastating.

And life won't be the same without Oreo. But because of your relationship with her, you made some BYC friends and have some incredible memories. You can't replace her in your heart, but someday, there might be another critter that needs to be loved and you might be ready to reopen your heart. I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much everyone! It has been helping me so much today and i got her when I was a kid (10) and she has grown with me, and helped me thru some stuff. I thought it was weird being upset over a chicken for days and days but chickens can be just the same as dogs or cats.
