Nadia was able to escape and swam behind Atlantis and watched with eyes filled with fear. Her tail was bleeding from the wound but nothing to major.

Cuvier lost his sinister grin. "So it's a fight you want? You will get it." He lunged at Atlantis, his jagged teeth bared.

Atlantis countered by dodging to the side and smashing her powerful tail against Cuvier's head.

Nadia swam a few yards back to avoid being caught in the fight. She was started to swim away, but then stopped. She didn't want to leave Atlantis. She thought, what is she needs help?

Nadia hesitated but then swam as fast as she could, while scanning her surroundings for Brianna and calling her name.

Atlantis didn't wait for Cuvier to attack again, launching an attack of her own. She bit down on to Cuvier's fin and held on tight.

Cuvier turned his head and attempted to bite Atlantis's head, but he couldn't flex his body far enough. He lashed out with his strong tail instead.

Atlantis flinched, but wouldn't let go, digging her teeth in deeper.

Cuvier whipped around and yanked his fin out of Atlantis's mouth, leaving a jagged scar on his right fin. He bared his teeth once more and bit into Atlantis's thick hide, near her dorsal fin.
