benefits of guineas?

If your Guineas figure out where the bees are... chances are they will sit in front of the hives all day and eat bees

Maybe you can help the neighbor build a fence around the hives, with a wire roof? 2"x4" welded wire should let the bees come and go, but keep the Guineas out.

Thank you for your reply. I contacted my neighbor that keeps the bees. She said she also owned Guineas and they were fine with the bees since there was so many other things to eat. She was excited that I was thinking about getting them. Since she keeps bees we don't use pesticides on our garden so as not to harm the bees (we buy her honey) She talked forever about the benefits of having Guineas vs pesticides. So looks like I will be brooding a flock of keets pretty soon! (I also won't have to build a fence!!)
