Besides chick feed...

what else can they have for now? I have 4 - 1 week old silkies and no baby food until tomorrow. .

They are trying to eat some crushed up laying pellets, but they seem to big still. I will get some chick feed tomorrow, but what can I give them in the mean time?

If you have a mortar & pestle use it to powder the pellets. Even the chick starter needs ground a little for silkies the first 2 weeks.

Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal (made with water, not milk). I'm sure others will have some more ideas.
