Best and Worst Movie Lately

Precious was the best I have seen in a long time. It was only playing two theaters in Oregon and both were in Portland which is over a hour and a half away. There were lots of people laughing at parts and lots and lots crying at other times. I really want to see Whip It, I went to a concert and the opener was Landon Pigg. Landon is in Whip It, he is the main guy in the band that she is supposed to have a bit of a romance with.

Best ever ever ever (and the book): Precious

I cannot praise this movie more. It is an inspirational story, and beautiful. The book is just as good, if not better. (There are two copies, one based on the movie called Precious and the original which the movie is based on called Push, by Sapphire).

I also really liked Whip It

I can't say much for bad movies

I haven't seen Precious yet, it looks to only be opening in Toronto here but I've been watching that trailer ever since I heard of it LOL. I've read the book half a dozen times too.

I wasn't impressed with Christmas Carol. I thought it a waste of two hours. They could have made it so much better. Very disappointing.

That's the only movie I've seen in about a year, so I've got nothing on the good list.

I would like to see the new Sandra Bullock movie and the new Disney princess movie (as much as I generally detest Disney movies, this one looks interesting with good music).

We saw 2012.

It gets 10/10 for special effects.

Overall though I give it a 7 of 10.

When the end of the world comes as we know it now, we know there won't be a flood again. It will be burned.

I thought A Christmas Carol was awful. Waste of time.

I actually don't remember the last good recent movie. I watch a TON. But none lately have been very good, that i can think of right now.

I want to see precious but don't know of a place close playing it.

And I wanted to see 2012. But everyone says it wasn't very good.

Miss Pettigrew lives for a Day. LOVED IT!!!!!! 9 stars out of 10

Flash of Genius, pretty good 7/10 kept my attention

The best movie I have seen lately was ''7 Pounds'' with Will Smith, I actually saw it a few months ago, but it was so emotional and very unique. It is a MUST-SEE. It leaves you with a WOW feeling all over. I love anything with Will Smith, he is probably my fave actor. He really can't think of any sucky movie with him in it. I do like Twilight and New Moon, but they are certainly not the best.

The worst movie I have seen lately would be the stupid horror movie ''One Missed Call''. It is actually #2 of Rotten Tomatoes 100 worst movies of all time, I didn't learn that until after I saw it. It was horrible. Also, ''New in Town'' was really bad, it was really boring and pointless. It also did not deserve to be rated pg.

2012 was really interesting. I mean.. Ya I can see where people think its kinda stinky but if you look past some things its kinda neat. It puts all the ideas to 'whats going to happen in 2012' into the movie. And the reason of the flood was because the earth shifted its axis. It tipped or toddled about 1000 miles.

I want to see that Precious movie..

A movie that is older but I just saw for the first time I liked was 'The Shawshank Redemption'. It was one of the 'made me cry' movies at the end.
Year one was dumb dumb dumb. Im not a comedy person so I think a lot of comedy is dumb.

Let see...
There was one movie recently that I started watching with my SO and less than 10 mins in we looked at each other and turned it off..
