I’m looking for recommendations on a reliable automatic pet feeder that consistently dispenses the right portion sizes. My main concern is accuracy—I’ve seen some feeders that either jam or release inconsistent amounts, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I’d also love something easy to clean and has a decent storage capacity since I travel occasionally and need my pet’s feeding schedule to stay on track. Smart features like app control or voice recording are a bonus but not a must.

For context, I have a medium-sized dog who eats dry kibble, so the feeder should handle that well. If anyone has experience with a specific model that has worked well long-term, I’d appreciate your insights!

I cant really help. We had tried a auto feeder and it was horrible to use for us. A relative had got it but they didnt use it so gave us it. We tried it. The bowl was hard to clean. It wasnt accurate on amounts. And it didnt despense on time.

Hopefully you can find something that works!

I just free feed my dogs and cats. They eat small portions throughout the day. I have never had a problem with any of them getting too fat.
