Best Bantam Layers?

Can anybody tell me which bantam breed is the best layer? And where I can get some? I'm in Southern California.

I've never owned a bantam of any breed that wasn't a good layer! If you want ready-to-lay pullets, post an ad on Craigslist. If you want chicks, order from the hatchery closest to your location... you have a better chance of all the chicks making it there alive in this summer heat.

Thank you for the info. No kidding about the good layers. We have one bantam that a friend rescued and she recently layed 3 eggs in one day! Unbelievable! More typical is one per day from her.

ALL of my bantams are excellent layers.
