Looking to hatch a few eggs come next year, and I want to get an early start on the research.

I originally thought of doing the broody hen method, but my hens don't sit consistently enough.

I was looking into a bunch of incubators below the 175$ price range, and am still kinda confused about which is best or worst (looked at Janoel 12, Incuview, Hovabator Genisis, Hovabator 1502, farm innovators 4250, Brinsea mini).

I believe my requirements are as follows,

1. Circulated Air (fan)
2. Automatic Egg Turner ( I would forget after the second day)
3. Heat Stable
4. Easy to Clean

I don't mind a bad built in hydrometer or thermometer, since I can go buy one for 10 bucks at amazon.

Any recommendations for a incubator under 175$?

Get you a few old English game hens. Best incubators I know of.

Janoel and farm innovator have way to many bad reviews... the rest you mentioned would probably be OK.

Hovabator 1583 is the non digital version of the 1588. Fan forced air, holds rock steady temps. I got mine for $122 on Amazon w/turner. You can pick up the turners for between 45/50 bucks I believe. If you don't need the convenience of digital, I highly recommend it. Love mine, and it has a nice big picture window.
