Welcome to BYC. Excellent suggestions already offered - for me true Ameraucanas would be the choice.

You got good ones, N F C!
I have CLs too, very pretty eggs but my favorite hatchery charges $15 a chick!
I have Cream Legbars (and a couple other breeds)...the CL's lay a lovely shade of blue. Hope you find the birds you're looking for!

Thanks for the info. I like the looks of the EEs. Pretty. Will give it some consideration.Welcome to our FUNomenal community!
Unless you have a reputable breeder, pure Ameracaunas are difficult to find and expensive. Most labeled Ameracaunas are actually EEs, even from hatcheries. I have several EEs in my flock and have beautiful shades of greens and blues. They are definitely among my favorite!
Good luck with your search!
Hi. Only have four hens, and one is no longer laying. Want about three more. Fun to have aren't they? Thinking about Orpingtons and maybe an Easter Egger. Not sure.Welcome to backyard chickens so glad you joined the flock!
