Im just starting out in the chicken world, and want to know everything. I would like to know of some books chicken owners must own! Right now on my list is The Chicken Health Book, but what others do you recommend? Either for just a read or someone to keep no hand just in case.

i have "The Back Yard Flock" it has helped me tremendously. it has all the different diseases in it, how and what to treat them with and incubating. it even has chick raising. this is the best book i have run across but i am fairly new to.

Another fun one is "Living With Chickens" by Rosser I believe. And also "Hen & The Art of Chicken Maintenance."

And for decoration and a conversation piece, pick up Extrodinary Chickens, and Extra Extrodinary Chickens. They are FILLED with awesome pictures of every kind of breed you can think of.
