Hello, I was looking over the breeds on the stickied thread and they all seem like neat choices but I can't really make up my mind on which type to get. I think the main purpose for them for me will be eating but I'm sure I'd use the eggs too. I've been looking at the Japanese quail, it seems to be the most popular. Also, secondary question, I see a lot of quail pens that are built for two separate cages in one, is this to keep the males and females separate? I haven't built my pen yet, would it be a good idea to build a dual cage pen? Thanks.
