Best breeds?

I think you would be better off detailing what your goals are for them. Egg production, pet/friendliness, breading, etc...

I get a kick out of my Easter eggers with their tufts. Our Rhode island reds are very personable as well.
 
Clarifying you are choosing from only the breeds listed in the poll?

I think Buff Orpington's or Sapphire Gems are really nice. At least, mine are.

I’m looking for good foragers that are friendly and very hardy. I have some Ameraucanas and speckled Sussex on the way and some cream legbars and marans in the brooder right now. We are growing our flock a lot right now and I was just thinking of some breeds

If you are just looking at chickens from the poll, I'd recommend Marans, Sussex, and Bielefelders. My Marans have been friendly, tolerant of most weather, and good layers of 5 eggs week. I don't personally have Sussex or Bielefelders, but I have heard they have similar qualities. Ameraucanas are also good for those traits.
