Best Brooder Bedding

I used pine shavings, the simple ones you get for indoor animals. Storm does really well. The bottom of the box is covered o 2m plastic sheeting. The wet areas are easy to clean and dry. The poop sticks to the shavings and is easy to spot for clean up.

I've used towels and pine shavings both with good success.

When they are little I use pine shavings with puppy pads on top of them. Once they get older and I run out of puppy pads I use just the pine shavings.

I use straw, works great.
