Best broody hens

Cochin Bantam hens for me. I currently have two Partridge ones that stay broody 10 months out of the year and have a Red one scheduled to hatch a dozen eggs early next week. In my experience, Cochins are very good mothers as well and are tolerent of my presence which makes the chicks tamer from the start. I have also had game hens that were excellent broodies and mothers but they will light you up quickly if they think their chicks are in danger.
