best broodys

My single Silkie has been quite wonderful, but my Orpingtons (B/B/S and Buff) have been awesome as a broody! I wouldn't trade them for anything!

im having trouble between deciding on silkies or buff orps which do u think is better?
 
I've only had one but she was really something! A cuckoo Marans.

I have only ever seen one broody in action, actually make that 2, it was one type of chicken! they were both pekin bantams and were excellent, one hatching out mutt eggs and the other hatching quail

so it has to be the pekin for me, they say any feathered footed breeds generally make good broodies.
