He sure does and his Gramps LOL and it’s his. He brought it on the bed with him and she is lol she loves just going right outside the door and just napping in the garden

I like to think they do lol the birds have a huge cage too and lots of toys

I swear Brew always knows when I'm sick and he's so much better behaved lol maybe he can smell it or something cause if I'm not sick and just tired he's usually like get up get up get up but when I'm sick he gladly lays there as long as I need. He does sniff first to be sure I'm sick then he's right next to me all day and night.

Dogs can smell illness. My Spike would react to me differently when I had cancer. She goes by Dr. Spike now.

I can also always tell when a dog here has serious problems as they get sniffed a lot more than normal here. It's amazing how much more they can smell than us.
