I’ve heard there’s even some aggressive Labs and Goldens now because of poor breeding and puppy mills and the like. It’s sad cause they’re not supposed to be like that. I really like Border Collies too but they may be a bit much lol I like Brew because he can run and play or hike all day if I asked him to but now that he’s older he can also sleep all day if I’m sick or need him to. Maybe a bit of fetch or romp around the marsh and otherwise chill. Unfortunately he’s usually sad about it and I feel awful LOL but he will do it if asked.

That's the scary part of buying a popular breed, especially one so overbred as labs. I guess we will see.

Brew sounds like he gets a good amount of exercise. Those young ones sure can be exhausting with all the shenanigans.

Yeah true. You just gotta be careful and find a reputable breeder. They are out there. Unfortunately they also cost more but I’m sure you know all this lol

And he used to but it’s been sooooo hot here lately and plus I haven’t been able to drive the last couple months due to medical stuff so I haven’t been able to take him hiking or really walking or anything like we used to and I feel so bad

we compromise by letting him sniff things on the marsh LOL

Dogs adapt. Mine are fine walking around the yard with me. They just like being with you and exploring. Doesn't matter how many times they do the same stuff.

Thanks! That makes sense. I just feel bad hahah the old place at least we could explore our woods. I really want to get my own place with land and hiking trails built in lol
