they look like barred rocks, sometimes called 'barred Plymouth rocks'
I bought them from our local feed store and they were pretty adamant that the chicks are barred leghorns and will lay white eggs! I guess we shall see.

oh by the way if where you are you have butcher birds or magpies they may kill your chicks if they are outside less likely for magpies to tho,
we had a butcher bird kill a small dove in our chicken pen. and then they killed a king fisher.
