Dont we all! But usually we have to settle, somewhere along the line.
Where do you expect to get some chicks? Much will depend on your source of stock.

Smart. By the time you do that, you will have determined if..
A) You really ARE determined and
B) Will have certainly located a local source for stock.

Since you are in Metro ATL, you should have little trouble. I like to refer to ATL, "Country Comes To Town," as that is how I feel whenever I go there!

I suggest using craigslist, the local "penny shopper" and the area agricultural newspaper(s). Check with local feed and seed stores, too.
Between these you can surely find some birds.
