Best coop I've ever built

I found those lights on amazon. They are for light only. They are remote led solar lights. Pretty bright for what they are. I have not run electricity to coop yet. That's probably my next step before next winter.

Love the double security, was the previous fence there already?

I built that fence to keep pups out of garden area. In one of the pics you can see a 7x7 one planter box. That is where the coop sits now.

Really like the blue PVC perch you made, can you walk me though how you created that?

It's all 1" pvc except for cross bars. They are 1" wood closer rods. I bought one 5' piece of pvc and 8 elbows. I'm not in town to measure lengths but will get them to you later.

Nice! I wonder, though; is your PVC pipe roost weighted, or will birds be able to tip it over? I would add 1"x4" wood strips, screwed in, over those fence staples, and have safer locks on the doors. I think it should work well, with that window opened most of the time. Could it be hinged on top, and act like an awning? Mary
