Best dewormer to put in water?

Okay, will do. I meant to do a necropsy for Hazelnut but it occurred to me too late and I hadn’t put her body in the fridge. They only get treats about once a week as it is and I don’t believe any of them are overweight. But I’d have to weigh them to be sure.

Even if you can't send the bird to your lab you can open it up yourself and learn a lot.

No, they do. I tried to deworm when they were still slightly active which I think was my mistake. I should probably do it when they’re all basically asleep.

Okay, I won’t use Zyfend A. I was kind of suspicious of its ingredients as it was “all natural.” Can safeguard liquid goat wormer go in their water or does it have to be dosed individually?

You mentioned you have trouble catching some... If they're all in the coop you could take one out at a time and release it once you've direct dosed it to the beak.
The grab another...repeat.

By mixing it with something else you aren't sure the bird is getting the correct dose and if you underdose it's worthless.

That’s a good idea. I’ll try that tomorrow morning. Thanks! Question, I did 4 of them today and 2 of them are red hens I can’t tell apart. When I go to do the other 4 tomorrow morning, is it ok if I accidentally give a hen a double dose? Because I can’t tell if I already did her or not?

You can trick them by putting the dewormer in a piece of bread.
I would NEVER recommend giving a piece of bread except for this.
