best duck breed

I was looking at the call ducks . Yet they are supposed to be loud... I would like small, not so vocal. What is the best breed of duck...

Best breed of ducks in my opinion is Welsh Harlequin. Good layers, very people friendly, not loud at all and VERY pretty.

if you want quiet then call ducks are a definite no the only duck breed i'd recommend that is quiet and they are a full sized duck is runners and like i said they are full sized but they are lighter than alot of breeds out there that i know of. sorry not to be of much help though

If you go with Welsh Harlequins, you will not be disappointed...quiet...calm...lay nice eggs, and quite beautifulthey are on the larger end of the lightweight ducks they more than make up for it in temperment, my Welsh are very calm birds!
