Best duck feeder

These are great! Thank you! And what do you use as a water feeder? Everything I google just comes up as suitable for chickens!

Currently they are using a dog bowl.
Buckets My grocery store sells food grade buckets in the bakery for 1.00 each 2,3,5 gal. they work great in summer in winter I use heated buckets from TSC.

I use the rubber bowl Spyderk posted for water. It's just the right depth for them to dip their nostrils and eyes for washing and of course for drinking. And perfect for babies to swim in, lol. I also have two all purpose mixing tubs that I keep filled. They can drink or bathe in them. http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...-large-all-purpose-mixing-tub-26-gal-35-cu-ft

I use hanging chicken feeders that I've cut to make bigger sections. For example, a 10 lb feeder with like 20 sections I cut out a few dividers to make it into 10 sections.

@Miss Lydia do you have a picture of the goat troughs? I'd like to look into them.

We were having trouble with our well water so I had to buy water at the grocery store and I saved the 2.5 gallon jugs. I cut holes so they can dip their heads in, but they can't swim in. When they were smaller and still indoors I used gallon jugs. When they were really small I used sour cream containers. The 2.5 gallon are nice because they lay flat and can't get tipped over like the upright 1 gallon jug can. Here they are using the gallon. And also what the bigger jug looks like, but no holes cut yet.

I did that for my ducklings!

O cool, I thought that might be it

I think I'm going to get one or two. Just tonight one of my chicken feeders slipped around the pegs that hold the top on and all of the food goes falling into my shoes

Oh I hate that. I also hate to have my chickens scratch all the food out so these feeders work to keep most of it inside the feeders and not on the ground where it's almost impossible to get up. Then I am feeding every rodent with in a 20 mile radius. They last forever too.
