The Black Sex link comes from the Barred Rock, not the Dominique. The two breeds are totally different, and if you breed a rhode island red rooster to a dominique hen, your characteristics will be 10x different.

if you breed them the way i said you get a bigger chicken and a better temperament but your right i made a mistake i breed cinnamon queens now or some call them red stars but i breed second generation so they cant be color sexed
