50 or so.@Debbie292d we don't have bantams, btw, all our birds are LF. I made the feeders myself using 5-gal. buckets and port kits I got from Bomgaars. In my estimation, the inner parts of the ports are not deep enough. In other words, the bottom of the inside of the port is flush with the opening, it does not extend downward at all. So the chickens were just billing the crunbles out and making a big mess. It doesn't seem to be happening as badly with the pellets. I may try a couple bags of the Kalmbach and see what happens. It wouldn't hurt my feelings for the feed to be delivered regularly. How many birds do you have? I have 30 at the moment.
