Best feeder to purchase

Hi

I am looking to buy a feeder that doesn't tip over, we only have 2 chickens but may get 2 more

any types you recommend ?

I will probably buy on ebay

(I should check out a home made one but now right now)

Are you planning to have the feeder inside our outside the coop? If outside is the area covered or uncovered? Are you planning tho feed only adult birds from this feeder or do you need one that still also function well for chicks? How much do you want to spend? what type of feed do you plan to feed (dry, wetted mash, fermented)?

Hi I will mostly keep the food inside, but sometimes outside

Food is layer crumbles. Most to spend? Less that $20 if possible.

Idk if I will get chicks later on, we raised some before and it was fun

Ty about the treadle feeder, but I don't want to build one right now

I.made my feeder for about 10 bucks out of PVC pieces at home depot. It holds almost a weeks worth of food for my two girls and they can t knock the food out.

Total investment....$10.....six feeding holes, zero feed waste, can be used indoors or out..... can be made with any size tub or bucket and any number of feeding holes needed

The Harris farms feeder is by far my favorite for a hanging feeder. The fins limit the amount of waste because it prevents billing out. It is also very simple to clean. $12 for a 7 lb. capacity and $15 for a 10 lb. capacity at Tractor supply.

This is what I use, also. Very easy to make and I keep mine inside my coop and like that it doesn't take up very much room.
