best feeders/waterers for adult ducks

I have several ice cream buckets scattered around the yard, but the ducks prefer to use the pond as their drinking water

For their feeder there are some handle-less skillets scattered around the yard.

All great for areas that do not freeze for months at a time. How about some recommendations for us Freeze Zone Alaskans?

Many people use the electric dog bowls that keep the water from freezing. I have also heard of people using aquarium heaters but l don't know how safe that is. They also make heated buckets. Hope these ideas help.

Heated buckets work great some of mine are going on their 4 winter here.
