best food for dog with sensitive stomach?

I feed my dogs EarthBorn without any issues. They eat and LOVE the fish-based food.

To the OP, I would also recommend getting her checked by a vet. At that age, vomiting could be a sign of internal tumors.

Again, I'm very happy with EarthBorn but my mother makes her own dog food for her dogs. She basically gets whatever free-range, grass-fed meat she can (whole chickens from a farm near her, goat meat from me, grass-fed dairy beef from friends of mine) and cooks that and vegetables (peas, green beans, carrots, pumpkin) into a big mushy stew and feeds it to them. Her dogs, ages 11 and 8 thrive quite nicely on it. Sleek coats, lots of energy, healthy teeth.
I have never had a problem with Earthborn and am a huge fan! This problen was relayed to me by a trusted local feed vendor with much experience in canine nutrition. I totally trust thsi vendor. Maybe tis just a local problem. i don't know. I just bought some Puppy Vantage (Earthborn) to feed my 2 senior bitched until I find out more. Got it off the shelves of my local Agway and it has had no problems. Not starting a rumor war here. Just waiting for Earthborn to issue a statement. Soon as I can will be back of the Fromm I will be buying as soon as I run out of the Earthborn and back on the Earthborn.
Best,
Karen

An update on little miss Shmoopy:
She went to the vet on Monday. Monday night was rough for her, she was in a lot of pain. Thought I would have to take her to an emergency vet on Tuesday but she started showing signs of improvement.
Last night she got out of bed to bark at the neighbor dogs and begged for food while we were eating dinner (as hard as it was, I didn't give her any except her plain chicken).
Today has been even better. She has been up walking around, scrounging for crumbs and even went up and down the basement steps for the first time in about a week. I'm optimistic that she'll be back to her old self by the time she is done with her meds.

I have a Maltese that also has a very sensitive stomach and digestive system. They say all Maltese's can be this way. He occasionally threw up, especially in the morning after his breakfast and had a lot of skin allergies. Sores on his skin and ear infections. I thought I had him on a good diet until I stumbled upon some grain free food. It is called "Pure Vita" Turkey Formula.

WOW...huge difference in the health of my Maltese. He has been on this diet now for 2 months and has not thrown up once. His ears completely cleared up and as did the sores on his body. He no longer licks his paws and chest or pulls at his fur. AND, he is bursting with energy! Like he is a puppy again!

And as stated by an earlier poster, he went thru the "I am starving" phase and was constantly begging for more food. But he got past that and seems to be in perfect health. So I HIGHLY recommend all grain free diets to all dogs. They do not need grain in their diets at all. I was shocked at how much a difference it made to my dog's quality of life.

I was also told by a vet that beef and chicken are the worst offenders for allergies. Turkey or Lamb are supposed to be the easiest type of protein to digest. So if you can get these, they might respond better.

I live in a remote part of NM and was never able to get these types of foods, however my feed store just started carrying them. If they discontinue this food, I will order it on line, that is how good it is for my dog.

Good luck to all you dog owners with sensitive dogs. Give one of the grain free diets a try. Could revolutionize your dogs life!
