Best Hatchery for small order (5 or 6 chicks)?

Whats a CSA site?
Meyer Hatchery has a small order program and a nice selection of breeds. Nice catalog.

Yes, I just bought 11 chicks from Meyer Hatchery yesterday, everything is good so far, they have great service.

My order of 15 arrived this morning from My Pet Chicken. All appear to be healthy and lively, and are eating and drinking well.

CSA = Community Supported Agriculture. Those are the people most commonly known for selling membership shares for their farms produce, selling at farmers markets etc.
Their website: http://www.localharvest.org/csa/

You
can look up farms near your zip code and also by the type of produce, livestock, wool, eggs, dairy etc you are interested in.
I loved being able to pick out my own chickens, not having to worry about chickens and having someone to fall back on in case I accidentally got a roo. One of the families in town that got chickens this years got them from an Amish farmer

I looked up the CSA site- the nearest farm for eggs was 95 miles away..

I did find a local friend that may be interested in about 5 chicks....
I want 6. If I can find a 3rd person I think we'd be there!
Are there any that have a 15 chick min without exhorbitant shipping?

Cackle Hatchery has no fee after 15 birds however shipping isn't super cheap. But they do have a good selection of birds.
