Hey guys! If you have heard of my previous and on going Cutest Chick Contests, then you should enter my second Best Hen Contest! Like my other contests, there is a first place, second, and third place winner! It is just for fun so there are no prizes. Here are the rules:

Only hens are allowed (over 4 months)

These are my Cornish X girls, Chuck (right) and Wagon (left). They're my OEGB roosters favorites and it's hilarious because he's so small. They have lost some weight since this picture was taken and they're still able to walk normally.

7mo silkie Likes: Standing on her pole, squat back massages , kisses and sleeping under me (makes me feel like a mama hen).
She was a helped hatch and honestly I didn't think she'd survive. She was so weak and had splayed leg, curled toe and pasty butt. She had to be handled lots as a chick so we could help her. So she was quite scared of people.
She healed, unbelievably, thanks to vets, me, and her loving brothers. I was so glad!
Since then she started gettung sweeter! At 4mo, she acted as an "other mama" for Pippin's chicks, it was adorable seeing her, Pippin and the 3 chicks all snuggled up in the nest!
On the 17th of September 2021, she layed her first egg, I was so proud. I never thought she'd make it to that day.

Now when she sees me, she runs to me, and squats down for a massage and a kiss & cuddle!
