i've got 3 dozen quail eggs i'm incubating. was told to keep humidity at 60%. been reading up on it and different suggestions are saying between 45 to 70% are fine. i want to make sure i have the right level of humidity for my eggs.

I’ve hatched hundreds of quail eggs, but I hatched on such a large scale that humidity was never really considered. Once one hatched, they were fine. I, however, had the best results by filling up all the reservoirs and placing a wet sponge in the middle of the incubator.

The best hatches I have is when my humidity is around 43% during incubation and then raising it to 60 - 65% for the last 3 days. You don't want to go above 70% because the chance for 'stuck' chicks increase pretty dramatically.
