Is there a great incubator up to $500 that'll handle a lot of quail eggs, regulate temperature well, rotate eggs, and keep humidity well? I've got one of the styrofoam ones and want to upgrade.

A Dickey!

Does the Dickey regulate humidity? Any other recommendations?

Ah...you want a "plug & play" model....check out the Brinseas. I really don't know if they'll hold as many eggs as you need.

You'll have to spend more for a new one, but Sportsman is very good. I believe their newest model is totally automated (if that's what you call it).

Hi,
I have both a Dickey and a Suro king w/auto pump water
The Dickey is holding it's temp and humidity as well as the auto one.
You just need to make sure it does not run out of water.
If you can find a used one,go for it!

Not sure what you are looking for as far as compacity, but I would recommend the Brinsea 20 Advance EX. I paid around $450 I think.

I have three of these incubators, the Octagon20 Advance EX, and got mine for $399.00 on sale. At 3 different times.... there's a coupon code for 10% off: FBOS0311 good until April 15th.

This incubator is truly plug and play... it holds up to 24 chicken eggs, and should be able to hold double that number of quail eggs. Humidity pump is excellent!

The Dickey looks like the best deal when it comes to capacity, regulating temp and humidity. Am I missing anything?
