Best Incubator

It's getting to breeding season, and I'm going to be breeding my:

Anconas
Australian Spotteds
Rouen
Khaki Campbells
and
Swedish Black and Blues.

I'm looking for the best incubator. SOmething with automatic egg turner, humidity, heat, easy to read and manage, can hold a good amount of eggs, but also not break the bank. Trying to avoid styrofoam.

Sounds like an Incuview might be up your alley, since it hits all those points. I'm not sure how many eggs you want the incubator to be able to hold, but the Incuview holds 27 eggs.

Brinsea incubators are also nice, and are what I use, but they are more expensive. However, the largest tabletop version holds over 50 eggs, which is nice.

I'll look into that! What brand of Brinsea do you have? There are so many different ones! I definitely want to incubate at least 25 at a time, the more the merrier.

I've got the older style, the Octagons. I've got an Eco 20, which has been chugging along with me for 4 years, and I bought it used so it's even older than that. Then I bought a larger Eco 40 because I wanted more egg capacity. Aside from a little trouble with the turner, it's done really well and I love it.

is there a consensus of sorts that the incuview is the best deal for quality in it's class. we made a coolerbator one year and that was fun for the kids but tedius for the parents to monitor and I've used a barrowed havobator a few times. I'm ready to have our own and the incuview looks like a solid unit and a pretty good price for the number of bells and whistles.
